KCP IP STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN INDIGENOUS YOUTH CONVERSATIONS AND LEARNING EXCHANGE

Empowering Indigenous Youth Through Culture, Rights, and Sustainable Development

King’s College of the Philippines–Bambang, Inc. proudly recognizes its Indigenous Peoples (IP) students who participated in the Indigenous Youth Conversations and Learning Exchange held on October 22–23, 2025.

The event brought together indigenous youth from various schools and communities to engage in meaningful discussions, share experiences, and exchange ideas on sustainable development and cultural preservation. Anchored on the theme, “Sustainable Development: Anchored in Rights, Driven by Progress,” the activity highlighted the importance of respecting indigenous rights while promoting inclusive growth and development.

Throughout the seminar, participants attended informative sessions and took part in discussions focusing on culture, environmental stewardship, education, and community development. The activity also provided opportunities for students to connect with fellow indigenous youth and strengthen their appreciation for their cultural heritage.

The learning exchange encouraged participants to take pride in their identity and become active advocates for the preservation of indigenous traditions and values. It also deepened their understanding of how sustainable development can be achieved while protecting cultural heritage and community rights.

Through their participation, KCP’s IP students gained valuable knowledge, leadership insights, and renewed motivation to contribute positively to their communities. The institution remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote cultural diversity, inclusivity, and sustainable development.

KCP-Bambang commends its IP students for representing the institution and for serving as young leaders who champion respect, unity, cultural preservation, and sustainability.
