STUDENT LEADERS SUPPORT SUSTAINABLE CAMPUS MANAGEMENT THROUGH CLEANING EQUIPMENT PROCUREMENT

SSC provides Essential Tools for the Kalinga Campus Program Clean-up Drive

The Supreme Student Council (SSC) of King’s College of the Philippines–Bambang, Inc. has taken an active role in supporting the institution’s Kalinga Campus Program (KCP) – Clean-Up Drive through the purchase of additional cleaning materials for campus maintenance activities.

This student-led initiative aims to strengthen ongoing efforts to maintain a clean, safe, and environmentally responsible learning environment. By providing essential cleaning tools and supplies, the SSC helps ensure that students can actively participate in regular campus clean-up activities and environmental stewardship programs.

Materials Procured

To support the implementation of the Kalinga Campus Program, the SSC purchased the following materials:

  • 10 Walis Ting-Ting
  • 5 Broom Sticks (Walis Tambo)
  • 2 Bolos (without sheath)
  • 1 Bolo (with sheath)
  • 2 Panabas
  • 10 Dust Pans
  • 2 Shovels
  • 1 Grab Hoe (without handle)
  • 2 Grab Hoes (with handle)
  • 10 Kumpay
  • 2 Sharpeners

Project Investment

  • Total Cost of Materials: ₱7,490.00
  • Other Expenses (Transportation and Snacks): ₱1,100.00
  • Total Project Cost: ₱8,590.00

Moreover, the project promotes a culture of shared responsibility among students while encouraging active involvement in sustainability initiatives. Through collaborative efforts such as this, the KCP community continues to foster environmental awareness, campus pride, and responsible citizenship.

The initiative highlights the commitment of student leaders to supporting institutional sustainability goals and creating a cleaner and greener campus for everyone.
