CARPENTRY AREA CLEAN-UP DRIVE PROMOTES WASTE REDUCTION AND WORKPLACE SAFETY

KCP-Bambang Strengthens Environmental Sustainability Through Waste Management Initiative

As part of its commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible waste management, King’s College of the Philippines–Bambang, Inc., through the Pollution Control Office in coordination with the NSTP–CWTS Unit, conducted a clean-up drive at the Carpentry Area on January 31, 2026.

Prior to the activity, accumulated scrap and waste materials were collected and properly disposed of through a junk shop to reduce clutter and support waste diversion efforts. During the clean-up drive, NSTP–CWTS students assisted in cleaning the area, sorting usable and non-usable materials, organizing tools and equipment, and improving overall workplace sanitation.

The initiative successfully restored cleanliness and order within the Carpentry Area, creating a safer, more organized, and functional workspace. It also promoted environmental responsibility, teamwork, and proper waste management practices among participating students.

Through activities such as this, KCP-Bambang continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainability, resource efficiency, and the development of a clean and environmentally responsible campus community.
