Promoting Filipino and Indigenous Languages for National Unity

King’s College of the Philippines–Bambang, Inc. proudly celebrated Buwan ng Wika 2025 with the theme, “Paglinang sa Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagkakaisa ng Bansa.”

The celebration highlighted the importance of the Filipino language and the country’s many indigenous languages. These languages preserve culture, history, and identity. They also help strengthen unity among Filipinos.

Moreover, the event encouraged students to appreciate the value of language in everyday life. Participants learned how language connects communities and promotes mutual understanding.

Various activities, workshops, and competitions took place during the celebration. These programs allowed students to showcase their talents and creativity. At the same time, they developed a deeper appreciation for linguistic and cultural diversity.

In addition, the celebration emphasized the role of indigenous languages in preserving traditional knowledge and cultural heritage. Each language carries unique stories and perspectives that enrich the nation.
