Students Prepare for the 1st Student Research Congress

King’s College of the Philippines–Bambang, Inc. took a major step toward strengthening its research culture by holding its first Student Orientation for the 1st Student Research Congress. Dr. Steve A. Solano, OIC-President, and Genevieve A. Marquez, Chief Academic Officer, led the initiative.

The orientation carried the theme “Amplifying Voices and Stories Beyond Data.” Through this theme, the institution encouraged students to present meaningful experiences alongside their research findings.

Moreover, the activity gathered students, faculty members, and organizers to discuss the goals and expectations of the congress. Gabrielle Alexia Gamboa and Rhea Rica Ramon, Research Assistants, facilitated the session with the support of the Wellness and Counseling Center staff.

Additionally, the speakers explained the congress guidelines, submission requirements, timelines, and evaluation criteria. They also introduced the official list of research papers scheduled for presentation.

Furthermore, the orientation highlighted the value of research in promoting innovation, community development, and knowledge sharing. Students gained a clearer understanding of their roles and responsibilities as presenters and researchers.

Through the 1st Student Research Congress, KCP-Bambang provides a platform for students to showcase their work, exchange ideas, and contribute to academic and societal progress. Ultimately, the institution continues to empower young researchers to address real-world challenges through meaningful and impactful research.
