Office of Religious Affairs

OFFICE OF RELIGOUS AFFAIRS

As a Christian institution, King's College of the Philippines incorporates spiritual activities in its programs. This is aligned with the school founder's dream, being a pastor and a missionary. Thus, the Office of Religious Affairs (ORA) exists for the spiritual nourishment of all the employees, students and other stakeholders. We believe that as a Christian institution, every person should be molded holistically in terms of academic proficiency, skills development, and spiritual upliftment to attain a balanced life.

The name of the office is abbreviated as "ORA" which in Latin means, "PRAY." This reminds us to always connect with God as He alone is our sure foundation and salvation. This is reflected in Psalms 18:1-2 where the school's motto is derived which reads, "I love you, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold".
