Promoting Responsible Waste Segregation Through Multimedia Education
The Pollution Control Office of King’s College of the Philippines–Bambang, Inc. launched its Environmental Awareness Campaign through the presentation of a video on proper solid waste management and environmental responsibility.
The video highlights the importance of waste segregation, responsible waste disposal, and compliance with Republic Act 9003, also known as the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000. It serves as an educational tool aimed at strengthening environmental awareness among students, faculty, and staff.
The awareness video was first presented following the chapel service and will continue to be shown after every chapel gathering throughout the month of March. Through this initiative, the institution seeks to reinforce sustainable waste management practices and encourage active participation in maintaining a clean and environmentally responsible campus.
By utilizing multimedia as an educational platform, KCP-Bambang continues to strengthen its commitment to environmental stewardship, sustainability, and community engagement.
